Example: enable serial number tracking in bulk
Navigate to the Product tracking preferences page in the Serializer app
(Optional) enter a search query to filter product variants. For example, if you wish to update all product variants that match a specific tag, enter tag:your_tag_name into the search field. Learn more about the available query arguments and Shopify search syntax.
Click the checkbox on the left of the Product column title to select all product variants on the page.
(Optional) click Select all 25+ product variants
Click Edit tracking preferences at the bottom of the page
Ensure the Track individual items option and Serial number input field are checked
Click Save
Once the bulk product variants update is in progress, you can close the popup window. Most bulk updates complete within a few minutes, but it may take longer to update a very large number (tens of thousands) of product variants.
