Synchronise existing customer barcodes with the app

Pair unique barcodes from an existing loyalty program with your customers.

Follow the subpages of this guide if your customers own physical cards (or other objects) with unique barcodes and the encoded values are not recognisable by Shopify's customer search. I recommend using app-generated barcodes if your customers don't own any objects with unique barcodes.

Synchronising such values with the app would only make them recognisable by the app and not the rest of Shopify.

There are three methods to synchronise existing customer barcodes with the app:

1. Enter barcodes individually.

2. Import barcodes.

3. Populate barcodes from customer metafield.
