# The "Barcodify - Customer Selector" app website

This method is slow, and requires a camera or a 2nd scanner. Therefore, it's no longer recommended. To add customers to the POS cart faster and more reliably, please use the new ["Add customer" POS UI extension](/barcodify-customer-selector/getting-started/add-customers-to-the-pos-cart.md).

1. Add the "Barcodify - Customer Selector" app website to the Smart Grid.
2. Tap on the added tile and wait for the app to load up.
3. Tap on the search field and scan the customer's barcode using the second scanner. The associated customer will automatically be added to the POS cart.
